I liked My Bias is Showing?! for the actors more than the story. I explain myself: both actors were quite good in letting me believe in their characters, plus Na Ae Joon was real cute and Choi Si Yeol real sexy. With just words they were able to convey all the steaminess I needed to believe in them as a couple. And that is the reason why I said I liked more the actors than the story: the story was sexy, the original manhwa as well is, but here the two men don't go over sweet kisses... In a way, you could say it was better like this cause in this way the betrayal of Choi Si Yeol is sort of less dark, he just played with Na Ae Joon's feelings (that is still a bad thing, but at least in this way Na Ae Joon is able to forgive him). Considering all the rumors around this movie, Aichaku, I have to say I was expecting something more sexy. Said that, the movie, even without basically sex, is really nice, really sweet, and, I don't know, real? These are just four days in the life of two strangers, but in those four days their life will be completed overturned. Despite the tought men appeareance of both men, Lucas, an American teacher living in Japan, is actually really sweet, really cute, and totally gay. Probably living in rural Japan, him being gay is not so clear to the villagers, but the people who need to know, do. On the other hand, Ken, half American/half Japanese, has lost all his Western traits, probably since he was abandoned by his American mother when he was just one month old. He wants to learn English, and his sort of attracted by Lucas, I think right because Lucas is part of those roots Ken has lost. As I said their meeting is a big event in their life, and it's also very physical from the very first night, but we don't "see" it: they kiss, deeply, and then they wake up in bed together the morning after. I sort of feel like I wanted something more, because the director wasn't shy in showing as naked showers and baths in an onsen, so I really don't understand why suddenly becoming shy when they are intimate. Most of the official documents of the Koretian government are locked away or in active use, but the outer chamber of the historian's room boasts a magnificent chart of the bloodlines of the previous rulers of Koretia. You will see that there are two main bloodlines; both were cut off by wartime casualties, although the last surviving direct descendant of the second line died surprisingly recently. See the section of this book on Valouse for more details.

The Jackal's previous bloodline is unknown, but the Koretian ruler has established a new bloodline by selecting a young kinsman as his heir. The kinsmanship is dually established through a wardship and through a blood-brotherhood of an earlier generation.

I really liked 10 Things I Want to Do Before I Turn 40, on comparison to the manga it's very sweet, there is basically no sexual interaction between the two men, but nevertheless there is an undertune corrent that makes the relationship really nice. It's strange because both men are adults and actually Keishi approached Suzume in a really strong way at first, but then it's like Keishi reined his instict and we have to arrive to the 12th and last episode to see a sweet kiss between them. I have the feeling the drama was really Japanese like, meaning both men seemed real characters, both in public and private life. I liked for example the look of Keishi, office like in a suit, that in anyway made him stand out among his colleagues, and then going fully grunge when out in his free time. I liked that Keishi was open about his homosexuality, but very reserved about it in his work life: without lying but neither discussing it... I felt like this was a quite ordinary way to deal with the matter in Japanese culture. HEA. You can watch on GagaOOLala. Heat Level: 2/6.

Secret Lover started in a very sexy way, to then move to a more romantic pace. Hands up: the major bonus of this drama is Chance, the actor playing Han Tuo, he is sexy as all, but at the same time, you want to cuddle him like a big teddy bear... his jealousy for Lu Jun Xi is big, but never to a level to hurt Jun Xi. The actors are both perfect for their role, and the chemistry is good, the kisses are both sexy and sweet. I love how Jun Xi is always smiling while kissing, and I also love how he is able to comfort Han Tuo just with a hug. If you want something good, with nothing of bad happening to your boys, this is the perfect pick. HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala. Heat Level: 5/6.

The High Court

The rest of the Koretian palace is more easily accessed than the royal residence, rewarding visitors with many hours' worth of sights. I can only touch here upon a few of the more popular places to visit.

A visit to Koretia's High Court is the goal of most visitors. Here Koretia's ruler holds important court cases. In the moment of judgment, he transforms into his godly form. Thus the High Court doubles as a place of worship for most Koretians.

A tip: Although the Jackal considerately wears a mask to hide the most terrifying features of his transformation (which the mask itself barely hints at), it is still wise not to look directly upon the Jackal at his moment of judgment. A few sidelong glances are reasonable enough; the Jackal does not – as one rumor insists – strike down anyone who sees him in divine form. But looking for too long at the Jackal in judgment can have unfortunate effects on viewers. For this reason, a healing woman remains in attendance to assist any visitors who may pass out.

In olden times, court cases were heard privately by Koretia's Kings. The current court, like all of the palace except for the royal residence, was built by Emor during its occupation of Koretia from 961 to 976. During that period, the palace served as the home for the dominion governor, and the court was used by him for trials. A memorial to the Koretians who are thought to have been innocent when they were executed or tortured to death upon the governor's orders has been placed near the entrance of the court. The memorial was paid for by the Chara, at the time that he freed Koretia. It is believed that the Chara had his late father were unaware during that time period of the crimes being committed by the governor in the name of the Chara.

Stay by My Side after the Rain was a really sweet drama, very romantic but also very chaste, there is basically little sexual interaction between Kanade and Mashiro, but this doesn't mean this is not a romance. The two men were high school best friends, but when Kanade realized his interested for Mashiro was more than friendship, he cut ties, little knowing the interest was mutual. As soon as they met again as adults, Mashiro pushes Kanade into the relationship, and from that moment on, Kanade and Mashiro together will face the trouble of being a gay couple: office, friends, families... all the aspects are faced. I liked this one, especially for the actors, they were really nice and good at expressing their feelings. HEA. You can watch it on GagaOOLala. Heat Level: 3/6.

Ahn Geum-hoo needs a butcher to provide fresh animal blood for his sickly brother’s medicine. While most of the butchers seem reluctant to provide him with what he needs, Nobody is willing to do Geum-hoo’s bidding. With striking features and a strong build, Nobody has quite a reputation amongst the village folk. Yet, Geum-hoo finds a way to tame this wild tiger. First, he gives him a name—Beom. Then, he invites him to a world that this nobody’s never experienced...

I have to start warning this is not exactly and happily ever after story, but more an happily until real life do not intrude... Said that, like almost all Brothers Without a Tomorrow's works, the graphic is excellent, the story is sexy but not vulgar, there is also a lot of angst, but also deep devotion between the main couple. I'm not really a fan of historical settings, but I wanted to give this one a chance since I really like Brothers Without a Tomorrow, and I was not disappointed.

Life sure is ruff, especially when you’re Gyeon Heeseong. Abandoned by his pack of fellow dog shifters, he is forced to become a drug runner for a gambling ring. For his final job, he comes face to face with Savage Fang, the ruthless Wolf Den enforcer Yoon Chi-young. Everything goes (nearly) according to plan, but on his way back he is attacked and forced to return to his fearsome(?) true form…a little white cottonball of a puppy! After Chi-young finds Heeseong struggling on the streets, he takes him in, believing him to be nothing more than a stray. Will Heeseong be able to escape the ruthless, terrifying outpour of love Chi-young showers him with and escape his criminal past? Or will he be forever leashed to a life of kibble and kennels?

Paws & Claws is quite innocent and cute for half episodes, and then it becomes quite sexy, but always with a cute undertone. Gyeon Heeseong is in his puppy form for most of the time, and indeed he is quite the cute puppy; Yoon Chi-young knows since the beginning that he is not a real puppy, but he respects Heeseong decision to stay in dog form and treat him like the lap dog he is. It's quite funny cause Heeseong believes he could be a fighting dog, but he is just a fluffy ball. When the sex enters the story, I almost smirked: the size of the genitals of these two males was quite unbelievable, but the sex was joyful and therefore you can just enjoy it. Even if there is a lot of sex (sometime even 2 or 3 episodes lenght), it didn't overcome the story. The story itself is quite dark, but the cuteness I said before well balance it.
