She Lives!

Good god, I really hadn't realized how long it's been since I posted. Not that I have many friends on this journaling site yet, LOL.
The last few months have been somewhat of a struggle and an adjustment. I was diagnosed with lupus in August, much to my surprise. It explains a lot, but-- hell. Don't know what form it's going to take at this early stage, but I suspect it will be primarily arthritic. My primary physician is an internist, so she's agreed to hold off refering me to a rheumatologist until I "crash and burn" again. I just love her. She's been my doctor for a number of years now and she knows and understands and respects! me. I can't tolerate steroids (which is the basic treatment of choice for lupus) so we're doing nsaids and such at this point.
Work... hmmm. Job sucks ass, but the company is awesome. They try very hard to make us want to be there. For customer service week they gave us so much stuff that I had to make two trips to the car to get everything loaded!
As for Tennessee-- it can stop raining any time. Seriously. I won't complain.
